Energy saving consultancy and services

We offer advice on energy saving for Climate Change Levy (CCL) and Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) on all our EFF1 drives and pumps.

Electric motors and drives often account for a major proportion of an industrial site’s energy consumption. By using more efficient units and control mechanisms you can reduce your energy use. This can also reduce your maintenance and replacement costs, as efficiently-run equipment will usually have a longer life.

Massive cost savings

If you have any centrifugal drives or pumps then nine times out of ten we can help you trim the speed down from standard frequency of 50Hz to an energy-saving rate of 40Hz. By reducing speed you can achieve major cost savings.

Up to 50% energy savings

Even if there are no dampers or valves we can trim speeds down. A frequency inverter will typically effect a 20% reduction from 50Hz to 40Hz. This delivers a 50% energy saving, with resultant cost savings.

On-site visit

Our highly trained electrical engineers can visit and inspect your installations. We will then give you a detailed indication of whether savings are achievable.
